With 242 rooms, THE GRAND is Lynchburg’s largest hoteland has the largest ballroom in Central Virginia and is an excellent location for meetings, events and family gatherings.  More than 30 restaurants are located within walking distance.

The hotel is now locally owned and operated by Integrity Operations Management, also known as the “Hospitality Dream Team” which operates 6 other hotel properties in the Lynchburg Region in addition to properties in Blacksburg, Virginia, Toledo, Ohio and Monaca, Pennsylvania.

Although the LYNCHBURG GRAND is currently an independent hotel, they are looking at several options.  The company is licensed to operate Hilton, Marriott, Choice Hotels, and IHG brands.

Many of the employees have been working at THE GRAND HOTEL for 10, 20, 30 and even 40 years.  Tony Camm, current General Manager, started as a dishwasher and worked his way all the way up to General Manager.  Tony is planning to retire at the end of the month to focus on his music and entertainment career.   “Although we are the largest hotel operator in the Lynchburg Region, our goal is the be the best” says Lisa McNeil, Regional Operations Manager.

Joining THE GRAND FAMILY will be Brian Knopp as Director of Sales.  “Brian has been in the hotel industry for 20 years and is well-known for his customer service” says Shah.  He comes with 40 years’ experience in sales and has been in the hospitality industry for 35 years.  Formerly Assistant Director of Tourism for the City of Savannah, he and his family moved to Lynchburg in 1999 so Brian could accept the position of Vice President of the Lynchburg Area Chamber of Commerce and be in charge of tourism development for the City of Lynchburg and the surrounding region.

The Grand Hotel will be undergoing a complete remodeling. More details about the renovation will be released as soon as the brand name is selected.  For more information, please contact Brian Knopp, Director of Sales at 434-665-2907 or brian.knopp@outlook.com
