CHANGE
By Marius Preston
Change is therapy.
Therapy because:You gain survival.
- This is sustaining.
You gain revival.
- This is upgrading.
Humans tend to dislike change. It is nature.
Because there is uncertainty in it. And uncertainty needs preparation.
Becoming prepared means dedication. And dedication to change is hard. Hard because people need constants.
The truth is that the only constant is change. Nothing else.
Change is messy. It’s uncomfortable. And yes, sometimes it feels impossible.
But: The life you want might be in what you avoid. Change isn’t the enemy.
It’s the guide.
- Every shift teaches you what matters most.
- Every challenge builds the strength you need.
I’ve got news: If you don’t choose to change… Life will choose for you.
And life is not always kind.
6 Steps to love Change:Feel the fear and step anyway
- Fear is normal, but don’t let it control you.
- Take one small step toward what scares you.
Admit what’s not working
- Denial only delays progress.
- Be brutally honest with yourself
Define what you want
- Clarity is power.
- What does the next version of you look like?
- Do you Ikigai – it helps!
Make the hard adjustments
- Let go of what’s holding you back.
- Growth requires sacrifice.
Lean into the process
- Change isn’t a button.
- It is not instant.
- Trust your small steps – they compound.
Take ownership and seek feedback
- Own your actions.
- Pitch an idea, do something groundbreaking.
- Dare things and ask for feedback.
Remember: Change isn’t about losing who you are.
It’s about becoming who you’re meant to be. Don’t wait for the perfect moment.
It doesn’t exist.
