When was the last time you invested in yourself with the same intensity you expect from your team?

In boardrooms and executive roles across industries and countries, I’ve learned something often overlooked:

We obsess over transforming organisations.
We rarely prioritise transforming ourselves. 🔎

Strategy reviews happen quarterly.
Performance evaluations happen annually.
But self-reflection? Often postponed indefinitely.

Leadership is not a fixed identity.
It is an evolving discipline. 📈

There were moments in my career where I had to:

  • Rethink long-held assumptions
  • Unlearn behaviours that once brought success
  • Step back before stepping forward again

Restarting is not weakness.
Resetting is not failure.
Refocusing is not retreat.

It is maturity.

The most sustainable leaders are not those who never drift, but those who recognise it early and recalibrate.

Growth is iterative. So is leadership. 🔁
